YaMe is a great casual Asian restaurant for a good meal. You order when you arrive and then sit down. Plenty of options including ramen, noodles, rice, chicken dishes, etc. The soup dumplings were very good! We also enjoyed the Lo Mein and Chicken Fried Rice. I got a side of Lo Mein for $5 and it was massive! The chicken fried rice was large as well. I look forward to returning to YaMe to try more dishes.
Really good noodle spot! The flavor was great and the service was fast with plenty of seating options. Wanted to try everything on the menu, but just means I'm going to have to go back! One of the better Asian restaurants I've been to in Charlotte.
What a lovely spot! Love the interior of this place and friendly smiles of the staff. Menu is easy to read and ordering is a breeze. Hardly any wait before the food is served to your table. I had to order two entrees just because. The Curry Noodle soup came in a ginormous bowl. You can easily share this but I smashed it! So delicious. Plenty of veggies and the rice noodle is al dente. The soup reminds me of 'laksa'. Thumbs up! The Beef Chow Fun came next and it did not fail. (See pic) The wok 'hei' is there and the taste is so comforting. I packed most of it home and had it for dinner the next night. Texture and taste was still great after warming it up. Stop by and give 'em a try! CLT GEM Went back 3 days later and had the Beef Noodle Soup...my fav so far!
Got off the plane and for some reason I want some beef noddle soup. YaMe is sort of close so I give it a try . Yes, it is exactly meeting my expectation once I toke the first bit. Heavy broth, a little spicy, noodles have some chew to it. Whole bowl is nicely decorated. I forgot to take pictures of dumplings and stuff, but they were good too. Does not taste like the ones from supermarket. I just come here for the noddle, because other stir fry or teriyaki chickens ok, kinda mid. Nothing special. You order your food up front, they will give you a pager system to put on special spot on the table and they will bring food to you. Pretty cool concept.
Adorable new interior with plenty of space. It's casual- order at the counter and they bring you your food. Everything was fresh and fairly quick. We tried the Singapore noodle. It wasn't the best but it was decent for the price. Wouldn't get it again but do plan to come back for other dishes.
We ordered chicken skewers (my favorite on the menu), scallion cakes (pretty decent, but it gets a bit too much after two pieces), curry noodle soup (my second favourite on the menu, very juicy and tender chicken, and nice tasting shrimps plus pretty flavorful noodles and veggies), the string beans and the spicy chicken is a bit too sweet for my taste, as I expected only spicy and salty flavor, so probably won't be ordering these again. Good ambiance and food came out pretty fast. I don't really like the fact that it's self serving but their payment system still defaults you to pay for tips at the time of ordering... I mean they do bring the food out, but that's about it...
i was really craving some beef noodle soup so had to come to YaMe. growing up eating delicious homemade beef noodle soup, i have a higher standard for them. the one at YaMe is pretty good!! the noodles they use aren't the ones you normally would use for this dish but surprisingly works very well. their broth is good but a bit more on the heavier side. tons of beef chunks and bok choy given! it's a self serve place. so after you order your food, you grab your own utensils and find a seat to sit. they then bring out your food to you. clean place, great food, would def be back!
This is my second visit to YaMe. The location has plenty of parking in front and back. The restaurant is super cute, modern, and simple. I came around lunch time on Friday and it was steady. I did take my food to go, but there was a good amount of seating still available. For starters, I ordered the Pan Fried Buns. They were nice and spongy and the dipping sauce is what makes them. The Pad Thai was good, but much more orange than I am used to. I thought the flavor was good and the serving size was plentiful. I also ordered the Lo Mein with tofu. The flavor was good and I enjoyed the nice variety of veggies. Overall, YaMe is a great place for a tasty bite.
One of my favorite casual Asian places to eat at in Charlotte! The service is always great and the food comes out so fast. Their Crab Rangoons are delicious and are always hot and fresh!! My go to order is the Ramen Noodles... so delicious and feeling. The broth is amazing and recommend using sriracha to give it that extra kick. My boyfriend ordered the chicken teriyaki noodles and he absolutely LOVED IT!! One of my go to quick meals here in Charlotte.. especially if you're in the mood for something affordable, delicious, and easy.
